It came after two busloads of migrants seeking refuge were shipped to the city over the weekend from Texas with little warning. Many people, including Adams, greeted them at Port Authority Bus Terminal. Renata Castro, an immigration lawyer, said there is no law that allows Abbott to prohibit these asylum seekers from returning to Texas.
