Maya Jama has dismissed rumours that she will be replaced as the host of Love Island by Maura Higgins.

Maura recently appeared on I'm A Celebrity and previously worked as Love Island USA's social media host and a guest presenter on Love Island Games. Speculation about her departure was sparked by a report in The Sun, where a source claimed Maya was considering stepping down to pursue other opportunities. "Maya adores hosting Love Island and thinks it’s a great fit for now," the source said. "But she’s keen to leave on a high and keep her career moving forward. She has ambitions of working in America and wants to focus on primetime presenting opportunities.
