Maura Higgins has spoken out on a behind-the-scenes row with top fashion designer Scott Henshall, who designed her 'inappropriate' dress for the British Fashion Awards
Maura Higgins has become embroiled in a feud with a major fashion designer after he allegedly designed her an "inappropriate" dress for this week's British Fashion Awards.
“BFA tonight . . . first time to have zero control on my outfit . . . excited to see what @scott_henshall has designed for me," Maura told her fans earlier on in the day, only to pull out hours later because she wasn't happy with the design. “I don’t really know what to say, it’s like, I just feel it’s not very appropriate for the Fashion Awards," the star added.
“It was mortifying. Poor Maura was so patient and she ended up being totally stood up," the source continued. "To add insult to injury, Victoria ended up leaving with a bag which was meant to be for Maura. It was a mess.The source went on to claim the designer was supposed to be organising a selection of shoes for the reality favourite to choose from too, but failed to do so.
