The Boksburg Advertiser spoke to matriculants from Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen to find out how they feel about the outcome of the paper.“I found the paper easy. The language questions were just a bit tricky,” said one learner, Armandie Willemse. “Our teachers worked hard to prepare us for the exams, so I believe we are ready for the exams. I also want to wish other matriculants the best of luck for the rest of the exams,” she explained.
Learners from EG Jansen have to be at the school at least an hour before the exams as a precautionary measure in case of delays such as traffic congestion. The matriculants said they are making use of alternative ways to study during load-shedding.“May the ink they put on their answer sheets open doors for them in the future.”
