Scottie Scheffler showed why he's the No. 1 ranked golfer in the world in winning his first major championship.
Rory McIlroy started the day 10 shots behind leader Scottie Scheffler, but he did almost everything he could to catch him on Sunday at the Masters.
And for an encore, McIlroy's playing partner, Collin Morikawa, also holed out from the bunker for a birdie to shoot 67 and move into a tie for third at 4-under 284.Cameron Smith's quest to catch leader Scottie Scheffler came to a screeching halt at No. 12 when Smith's tee shot found the water. Instead, Smith hung the putt out to the right and made a bogey of his own. Scheffler's lead remains at four shots with eight holes to play.
