A number of Greater Manchester bars, breweries and restaurants are behind the event
Over the past year, Stockport 's historic Underbanks area has become known for its buzzing street parties, and this summer, a brand new takeover is planned.
The restaurant Where The Light Gets In has joined forces with a number of Greater Manchester breweries including Track, Cloudwater, Robinsons Brewery, Sureshot, Balance and Runaway to bring the event to life. The event will take place on Saturday, 20 July from 12pm until 9pm and will celebrate the town's thriving independent scene and rich brewing history.Robinsons Brewery on Lower Hillgate will be home to the main festival square and bar, pouring beers from each of the breweries.
Stockport’s iconic Underbanks will be filled with tables and chairs giving festival-goers the chance to enjoy an al-fresco beer from a five-tap van located outside magazine and book shop, Rare Mags, which will be serving up beers from both Cloudwater and Track. On Little Underbank, independent record shop & cafe SK1 will be supplying the tunes, alongside tap takeovers at The Spinn Off and Cracked Actor, with Cafe San Juan & Marley’s Tacos serving up street food.
