Employees and visitors will no longer be required to wear a mask in Cuyahoga County buildings, Executive Armond Budish announced Wednesday.

“This doesn’t mean COVID is gone and the danger is over, but it makes mask wearing voluntary,” Budish said during a virtual press briefing.new guidelines issued last week Cuyahoga is listed under “medium” concern, meaning people at high risk for severe illness should still talk to their physician about whether to wear a mask indoors and all people in these counties should also get vaccinated and tested if experiencing symptoms.
“There is no stigma with that,” she said. “We strongly encourage you to do whatever you need to do to protect you, your family and those around you.”
