A new political party has been formed by former DA member Masizole Mnqasela, who was expelled over allegations of fraud. Members could join for a fee of R10 at the launch in Mitchells Plain today.
The party was officially launched at the Rocklands Civic Centre in Mitchells Plain on Saturday, drawing a crowd of around 400 people who signed up as members – at a charge of R10 each,Mnqasela emphasized ethical leadership as the foundation of the ACC’s approach, highlighting the party’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of citizens over personal gain.
He criticized other political parties for promoting division and stated that the ACC aimed to unite the country. Mnqasela further expressed the party’s readiness to participate in Parliament and bring about real change. The DA had charged him with misconduct following whistleblowers’ allegations of fraud and corruption related to his expense claims, which were reported to the Hawks. Mnqasela has consistently denied these allegations.
