Mary Elizabeth Winstead's upcoming role in the Star Wars Disney+ series Ahsoka has reportedly been unveiled.
star — who joined the cast of the upcoming series earlier this year — is set to play the fan-favorite Hera Syndulla. That name will be familiar to fans ofThough not too much is known about Winstead’s portrayal, the character of Syndulla is a big one in, where she often piloted the Ghost and led various missions against the Empire, which would often lead Hera to clash with characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka Tano in the limited series after the character made her live-action debut inis expected to continue the character’s story. Joining Dawson is Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, along with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno, and Ray Stevenson.
The limited series is written by Dave Filoni, who is executive producing along with Jon Favreau and Kathleen Kennedy.
