Martin Lewis has issued further guidance to those who may have been mis-sold car finance
Martin Lewis has issued a warning to motorists who may miss out on compensation from mis-sold car finance.
However, with so many people sending complaints to finance companies, Martin has issued further guidance for those in the next stage of the complaint progress.In his latest newsletter for Money Saving Expert , Martin told people who are still waiting for a response to their complaint: "The numbers of complaints are beyond anything I expected, and I expected far bigger numbers than most firms did.
For example, some firms will provide an immediate auto-response to your complaint to say they have received it, while others may make you wait the full 28 days to hear back. Some firms say you will hear back about whether you have a DCA, and so may get compensation following the ruling, within a few weeks, while others may not get back to you for several months.
