Speaking on his BBC Radio 5 podcast Martin explained how to deal with 'administrative anxiety' which can put relationships under strain
Martin Lewis has spoken about the ‘strict lines of demarcation’ he has in his family life with wife Lara Lewington. The Money Saving Expert founder was speaking out on his podcast and Radio 5 show with Nihal Arthanayake on the issue of people not helping their partners out with ‘household administration’.
Host Nihal Arthanayake revealed he has exactly the same problem and said: “ I admitted it is an incredible source of frustration to my wife that she asks me to do these things and a week two week later she’s still asking me to do things in relation to mortgage renewals, in relation to various other administrative tasks, and it really is quite straining for her in a very serious sense. It’s just unfair on her.
“In our household both Lara, Mrs MSE as I call her, is equally totally on top of things. She has to get everything done immediately. She’s probably more so than me and we have strict lines of division of who does what between us.
