The former Central Coast Mariners manager has one win in the Scottish Premiership so far.
Nick Montgomery has launched a staunch defence of his start as Hibs boss and revealed Martin Boyle may have injured himself with a knee-slide celebration.
"I’m more than confident that the results are going to come but nothing happens overnight. The fact is, I’ve been here for eight weeks and I’ve lost one game of football in the league, to Rangers, who are one of the best teams in the competition and even in that game I felt we played really well up until we gave away a poor goal.
Montgomery made his Hibs dugout debut in a 2-2 at Rugby Park nearly two months ago and the 42-year-old insists Scottish football is exactly like he expected it to be. He added: “It’s a good league, and every single game is competitive. You have two teams classed as the ‘big two’ and they’re playing in Europe, the Champions League, but there are also spots for the clubs that finish below them.
