Corbin Bosch , on his Test debut, followed up his four wickets on Day 1 with a career-best 81 not out, pushing the Proteas to 301. This valuable innings gave the Proteas a 90-run lead. Markram , despite a lean patch, showcased his talent with square drives, reminding everyone of his importance to the team.
