Take That's Mark Owen 'unrecognisable' at Coronation concert after 10 affairs and stint in rehab
To celebrate the King's Coronation, on Sunday May 7 a star-studded lineup came together for a huge concert. Stars such as Tiwa Savage, Katy Perry, Olly Murs, Lionel Ritchie, Pete Tong and Bette Midler all took to the stage for the momentous occasion.
Mark Owen's life, in particular, took a rather bumpy course when the band ended, the Mirror reports, with the heartthrob from Greater Manchester reeling from the loss of his bandmates, Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Howard Donald, and Robbie Williams. It was around this time that he said his problems first started. He began drinking every night all alone, finishing bottles of wine while at a £300,000 property he'd purchased in the Lake District. "When I was up in the Lakes, living there for all those years on my own, I used to just drink every night," he told The Sun.
Mark told how his longest affair was with accounts manager Neva Hanley, who he met on the platform at Preston train station around the same time he first met Emma. Their fling lasted four and a half years and he confessed to sleeping with her a week after the birth of his daughter and ended things after spending the night together at a hotel in London just a month before his wedding.
The family have quit life in London and at their £6.5million country pile in Hampshire to start a new life in California, where Mark is said to be a regular at pal Robbie's pad.
