As far as Mark Hamill is concerned, we've seen the last of Luke Skywalker in 'Star Wars.'
Hamill called his character's farewell in the latest movie “bittersweet" and said joining George Lucas on this journey gave him “far more than I ever expected."
“I'm full of gratitude for what it has given me and my career but I don't want to be greedy," he added. “There are still so many more stories to tell and so many great actors to tell them, they don't need me."“It sort of gets back to the basics of George envisioning it as a Western in space," he noted of the show.
“With ‘The Mandalorian,' they can concentrate more on the characters and the storytelling," he gushed, giving it the Hamill seal of approval. “I think it's excellent."
