The judge presiding over the court case brought by Marikana miners against President Cyril Ramaphosa has recused himself.
An application was launched for Lamont's recusal after he disclosed that he had shares in Lonmin.
More than 300 people affected by the 2012 events in Marikana are taking President Cyril Ramaphosa to court for his role in what happened.Other killings took place in what was effectively a wage deadlock between mineworkers and the company Lonmin.
