Carey expands her now-annual trek of festive holiday shows for this year’s trek
tour — and this year’s run of holiday-themed shows will be her biggest Christmas-season adventure yet.
Carey will kick off her festive trek on November 15 in Highland, California, and wrap up on December 17 in New York at Madison Square Garden. The 13-date tour is her longest Christmas-season tour yet and her first country-wide trek for this seasonal show since 2019.mini-residencies at New York’s Beacon Theatre. In 2017, she added a Las Vegas run as well as dates in Europe. The following year, it was exclusively shown in Europe before returning to North America in 2019 for a set of shows.
Carey’s original Christmas song, 1994’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” has become a modern standard and finally became a Number One in 2019. It has continued to hit Number One every year since, and Carey herself has tapped into the “Queen of Christmas” title her fans have given her and helped lead the charge on her single’s continued December dominance.
