Marcus Rashford has been tipped to leave Man United this summer after he was left out of the England squad for Euro 2024., former Scotland striker Frank McAvennie insisted Rashford, 26, needs a change of scenery to rediscover his best form as he is too comfortable at Old Trafford.
The forward was left out of Gareth Southgate’s provisional Euros squad after a dip in performances, with McAvennie insisting he doesn’t perform to a high enough level consistently.Rashford’s high wages may cause issues when trying to move him on.Rashford first burst onto the scene in 2016, and has now made 402 appearances for the club, scoring 131 goals and providing 65 assists.
However, with just eight goals and five assists in 43 appearances this season, McAvennie insists he has allowed his level to drop and needs to rediscover his spark elsewhere.He’ll need to go now.
