The England international received a lot of criticism after United's 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, most notably for the decision-making in the final third.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher feels the 24-year-old is yet to take the next step in becoming a world class footballer. "Marcus Rashford has been in this team since he was a kid. He burst onto the scene and he’s always threatened to go to that next level, when the top players get to, and he’s not there yet," Carragher told CBS, as per the Mirror.
"We’ve got to the stage now where I don’t think he should be in Manchester United ’s XI. His performances this season don’t warrant being in the team.
