Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have been flooded with messages of support after the couple announced the death of their newborn twin son.
"It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness." Cristiano's sister Katia Aveiro shared a photo of the couple on her Instagram page and wrote: "I love you and my heart is with you over there. May God take care of you and strengthen your path more and more.
While Manchester City's official account tweeted: "Everyone at Manchester City sends our deepest condolences to you and Georgina."
