During this rocky 19-game stretch playing without the best version of their D corps, the Maple Leafs have gone 8-8-3 and given up four or more goals on nine occasions. "When we get our group back, we’ve got a pretty good group. We haven’t had that group now for five or six weeks," Babcock said.
