Toronto called up goalie Erik Källgren from the AHL Marlies to back up Petr Mrázek for the game against the Coyotes. It was not clear how Campbell got hurt. He finished Tuesday’s game, a 6-4 win in which he made 26 saves, and spoke to the media afterwards with no indication he had been hurt.struggled in the last monthCampbell is 24-9-4 — 10th in the NHL in wins — with a .914 save percentage overall. But his save percentage since Jan. 1 is .882, 56th among the 62 goalies who have played at least five games.
Källgren, 25, was signed as a free agent after two seasons in Sweden. He had been a seventh-round pick in 2015 of the Arizona Coyotes and played briefly with Maple Leafs rookie Michael Bunting with the Tuscon Roadrunners. Källgren is 15-8-1 with the Marlies, with a .904 save percentage sharing the net mostly with Joseph Woll, who had a successful turn with the Leafs earlier in the season when Mrázek was sidelined.
