The National Prosecuting Authority has yet to comment on Mapisa-Nqakula's urgent court bid to block law enforcement officials from using a warrant of arrest to detain her, which she launched hours after she announced she had takenCourt documents reveal that the ID had intended to bring the Speaker before a magistrate on Friday in relation to charges that she solicited and received R2.3 million in bribes during her time as Defence Minister. She denies any wrongdoing.
