Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister has dropped another hint of a possible early provincial election GlobePolitics
But the premier says that is more of a deadline than a date cast in stone.Pallister has previously hinted at an early election call, acknowledging it would give his Progressive Conservative party an advantage over the Opposition.
The P-Cs have also raised lots more money than the New Democrats and Liberals, which have yet to start their candidate selections.Pallister has promised to cut the provincial sales tax to seven per cent from eight before going to the polls.
