The stench of overflowing sewage in Caleb Motshabi township is one that reverberates throughout the city of Mangaung. Much has been said about the City of Roses - its decaying infrastructure, housing backlogs that date back to 1994, and piles of dirt that continue to accumulate in the streets of the city centre. But these are just part of the problem.
