Mandy Moore is set to star in Twin Flames, a cult drama from the producers of This Is Us. Over the course of six seasons, Moore earned plenty of praise and several nominations for her performance as Rebecca Pearson on the NBC drama This Is Us. Moore, more than any other performer, had to embody her character through several generations and significant life changes. As a testament to Moore's performance, Rebecca always felt familiar and came to be the heart of the series.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY According to Deadline, in her first TV role since This Is Us, Moore will star in and executive produce Twin Flames. Based on the hit Wondery podcast, Twin Flames tells the true story of two women who find themselves seduced by an online couple that claims every person has a soulmate that's known as a "twin flame." In order to find this soulmate, the online couple says, the person must be willing to do whatever it takes.
Sterling K. Brown, who earned plaudits for his time as Randall Pearson, is linked to a number of projects. Notably, he's been announced as starring in the mini-series Washington Black. He's also garnered several accolades for his recent performance in Honk For Jesus, Save Your Soul. Lyric Ross, who portrayed Randall and Beth's adopted daughter, Deja, recently had a voice role in Wendell & Wild. She's also set to join the MCU as a cast member of Ironheart.
This Is Us enjoyed an impressively long run, filled with critical acclaim and a devoted audience, partly due to the strength of its core cast. As a group, the This Is Us team won two SAGs for best drama ensemble. Therefore, it's no surprise that many of its actors have quickly lined up several of their next projects not too long after saying their farewells to the Pearson family.
