The Man Utd midfielder has sent his best wishes to those affected in his home country after a devastating earthquake hit Marrakesh and surrounding areas
Hundreds of people have been killed after a devastating earthquake his Marrakesh and other cities at 11pm local time on Friday. The quake measured at 6.8 on the Richter scale, causing heavy damage and building collapses.
Unsurprisingly, the news has stirred the Moroccan international and he shared his thoughts on the news on his Instagram page. Writing on his story, he wrote 'Pray for Morocco' and 'God Bless' alongside images of the rubble. UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly wrote on X: "Devastating news of a substantial earthquake just outside Marrakesh, Morocco. The UK is continuing to support British nationals in the region. We stand ready to help our Moroccan friends in whatever way we can."
