Manchester United cruised into the next round of the Carabao Cup with a resounding 7-0 victory over League One side Barnsley on Tuesday night. Erik ten Hag's men dominated from start to finish, with goals coming from Marcus Rashford (2), Alejandro Garnacho (2), Christian Eriksen (2), and Antony.

The Red Devils dominated from the early proceedings and managed to take the lead on 16 minutes when a well-worked counter attack ended with Rashford skipping past one challenge before firing home. The Red Devils were afforded the chance to double their advantage ten minutes before the break when Antony won a penalty after being fouled by goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina. The Brazilian stepped up himself and confidently dispatched the spot-kick for his first goal of the season.
The hosts continued from where they left off in the first half, as a neat passing move ended with Christian Eriksen sending Garnacho through on goal to slot home his second and United's fourth of the night.
