Manchester to Blackpool bike ride 2023: How to take part, route details and start times
The annual Manchester to Blackpool bike ride returns this summer. The epic 60-mile journey from Greater Manchester to the west coast of Lancashire is set to raise thousands for The Christie cancer charity.
Below is everything you need to know if you are interested in taking part in the ride on Sunday, July 9, including start times and location, how to register and route details. There will be refreshment stops along the route, especially on Lancashire's more remote country lanes, along with marshals, cycle mechanics, medical and pick up vehicles. The route takes cyclists from Salford through Leigh, past Haigh Hall, Preston, Warton and finally the seaside resort on the Fylde coast.
You can also collect your packor have it posted for £3. Entry prices vary, demanding on your needs, with packages starting at £26.90 for an individual in a team and an additional transport from the finish line back to the start.
