In Manchester, the clear skies and sunny conditions are set to continue into next week, where it will be warmer than the likes of Portugal, with another scorcher predicted for Monday.Temperatures are set to hit 20C in Manchester and Rochdale and up to 19C or 18C in other boroughs. Tuesday and Wednesday look only slightly cooler with average temperatures around 16C, but Thursday is set to see temperatures creep back up to 19C in most areas.
A 14-day forecast by the BBC predicts Greater Manchester could see temperatures peaking at as high as 24C next bank holiday Monday .
