Since retiring as a player, the Citizens manager has enjoyed a trophy-laden career with the three senior teams he has managed to date: FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich and now City.
The Spanish boss was expected to leave the Manchester club at the end of the upcoming campaign, but he reportedly agreed a deal in principle to extend his stay until 2025 in May. However, neither Guardiola nor the club has confirmed this extension, which means the tactician's contract is still one year away from expiring.With the City Football Group having officially purchased a majority stake in Serie B side Palermo on Monday, the Premier League club's chief executive officer Ferran Soriano has since suggested that the head coach could be on his way to Italy next."He knows everything we do, and he knows Italian football well.
