You'll be able to to get fish and chips or a burger, plus a beer, and still have change from a fiver
Manchester’s Revolution bars are saying to hell with inflation and the cost of living crisis by unveiling a new menu with meals starting at just £2.99. The bar chain, which has three sites in the city, introduced the menu last week.
The company, which is headquartered in Manchester, says that the offer will run for the whole of the summer and is available Sunday to Friday from 12pm until 9pm. Punters hoping to get a meal and still have change from a fiver can either book or turn up as a walk-in.Revolution has bars on Oxford Road, Deansgate Locks and Parsonage Gardens in the city. It’s also doing other selected dishes for £6.95 with a drink too.
It also created the spin-off bar brand Revolución de Cuba in 2011, themed around rum and Cuba with a branch on Peter Street. However, earlier this year the company issued a profit warning, saying that it had slipped back into a loss of £91,000, blaming ‘continuous and varied external headwinds’ in the sector, as well as transport strikes, hot weather and inflation.
