Martin Enow grabbed the girl from her mother's arms during a 'psychotic episode', prosecutors say.
A man who seriously injured a toddler when he snatched her from her mother's arms during a "psychotic episode" has been jailed, prosecutors have said.
A representative said Enow, who was "experiencing a psychotic episode at this time", grabbed the toddler by the neck and then tried to run away whilst holding her upside down. He then got into the passenger seat of a taxi which was at the nearby traffic lights and asked the driver to take him to Preston North End's Deepdale stadium. It said the toddler suffered a serious injury to her foot, which had required surgery, and a broken arm.
