The man had allegedly shot metal pellets at signages in Bukit Panjang with a catapult.
SINGAPORE - A 45-year-old man is due to be charged in court on July 26 for various offences including the possession of a gun and multiple weapons.
The police said they were alerted to the incident following reports from residents and identified the suspect following ground inquiries. The man was arrested in Jelapang Road on May 2, 2023. The man will be charged with committing a rash act, the possession of a gun without a licence, the possession of an offensive weapon and the possession of a scheduled weapon.
If convicted of committing a rash act, he can be jailed for up to six months, fined up to $2,500, or both.
