Franky Wah will be bringing his All Night Long tour to Liverpool's Invisible Wind Factory
Franky Wah hit the big time in 2020 with his single Come Together – a tune perfectly pitched to lift spirits as people struggled with the Covid lockdown in the UK. Radio 1’s mistress of all things dance music made it her “Hottest Record in the World” and by the looks of his releases and tour schedule, Franky has not taken a breath since.
Definitely, which is exactly how I like it. Last year was probably the biggest year of my career to date, with my first Ibiza residency and also my label, events and clothing brand going from strength to strength, so this year is shaping up to be more of the same as we focus on growing those even more.I’ve always been interested in music. I was actually originally a big hip-hop fan when I was younger and then naturally just ended up expanding my palate into dance music.
People like Sasha and John Digweed, especially. I’m now lucky enough to say I’ve released records with both of them and they also played my first Ibiza residency last summer.You properly launched your label SHÈN in 2022. Please tell our readers a bit more about that... I attended two of your SHÈN parties at Club Chinois in Ibiza. What a perfect venue for you. Was it a good season?
