Pedestrian dies after being struck by multiple vehicles, driver of 1 vehicle fled in hit-and-run
A man was fatally struck by multiple vehicles as he walked in the moving lanes of a freeway Monday night.A man walking on the freeway Monday night was struck by multiple vehicles and died on the street in what investigators have deemed was a hit-and-run, according to Houston Police Department officials.Texas police arrested an artist for drawing with chalk on a sidewalk
“We don't have any reason why he was walking on the freeway,” Lt. JP Horelica told On Scene reporters. As of Monday night, police believed he was hit by multiple vehicles but did not know which vehicle was the first to strike him, since the driver did not stop.The driver of the last vehicle to strike the man realized they hit a person and pulled over to call the police, Horelica said. Police arrived at the scene around 10:40 p.m.
