Police say a man walking home from work was forced into an SUV and driven away from a Northeast Philly neighborhood overnight.
The scene played out along East Godfrey Avenue, near Summerdale Avenue, in the Summerdale section of Northeast Philadelphia around 2:10 a.m., police said.
Witnesses told police that a black SUV, possibly a newer model Ford Explorer, pulled up next to the 48-year-old man as he walked home from work, investigators said.Two men then"exited the vehicle and then forced the victim inside the vehicle, point of gun."Do you recognize this SUV. Investigators blocked off Godfrey for several hours and appeared to be focused on a parked white SUV.
