Much was made of the Cameroonian berating the world's most expensive defender during United's 3-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund in pre-season, but central defender Lisandro Martinez has now encouraged this from his teammates leading up to the start of the Premier League season.
The Argentine has himself got into a few squabbles with opposition players during pre-season, most notably with Arsenal's Martin Odegaard and Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid, but the defender insisted he will not tone down his intensity, even in friendlies."When I play football, I give everything," he continued.
"I play like this, with passion because when I look at the badge, I represent this club. It's amazing, all I can only give is my body and my heart and everything. I represent this club with my all and I hope all the players [do] as well."
