Press conference with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola ahead of the FA Cup final against Manchester United.
Bruno Fernandes joined Manchester United in 2020 Bruno Fernandes has revealed he wanted to join another Premier League club before his move to Manchester United four years ago. The Portugal midfielder completed a £67.7m move to Old Trafford in January 2020 after three successful years at Sporting Lisbon. Fernandes has been one of the few recent United signings to impress, scoring 79 goals in 232 appearances and even captaining the side since July 2023.
United recorded their lowest-ever Premier League finish under Erik ten Hag and will look to end a dismal season on a high when they face Manchester City in the FA Cup final. It was recently suggested that the Wembley showpiece event could be Fernandes’ last game for United, with several clubs expressing interest in signing the Portuguese star this summer.
