Another midfielder United have considered is Adrien Rabiot, with the 29-year-old a free agent after his contract at Juventus expired. Bids have been rejected for Scott McTominay but there is still interest in the 27-year-old. McTominay's contract expires next year, although United have the option to extend it by a year.
