Manchester United fans were left rather surprised when they saw Jadon Sancho taking part in first-team training with Erik ten Hag at the club's Carrington training base
Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag's new relationship looks to have earned Manchester United close to £7million.
But Sancho and Ten Hag are believed to have made up at United's Carrington training base following the forward's return from his loan spell at former club Borussia Dortmund. With Sancho now likely to remain at Old Trafford, the Red Devils can consider the funds they made from his loan spell as a huge boost.
Sancho made a strong impact on Edin Terzic's side, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 17 appearances. Dortmund also managed to reach the Champions League final and qualify for the competition by finishing 5th in the Bundesliga. Considering his contributions, all the clauses for the potential add-ons were met.
Before the truce, various reports claimed United would consider a bid of £40m for Sancho if one was to come in - a £32m loss on what they paid of him. Now he is training under Ten Hag for the first time in nearly a year.
