Sir Bobby Charlton passed away on Saturday morning and Man United won their match at Sheffield United in the evening.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says the news of Sir Bobby Charlton's death inspired some of the players to beat Sheffield United.
"The first-half wasn't the standard Sir Bobby Charlton," Ten Hag stressed, "the second half was a bit better. "I never had the honour to meet him but what I heard was, in spite of all his trophies and games, he was so humble and eager, a big personality. He's an example for all of us in football, society and global wide.
