Gareth Southgate resigned from his role as England manager on Tuesday and Man United icon Scholes appears to have hinted at who he would like to replace him
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes appears to have hinted that he would like Pep Guardiola to replace Gareth Southgate as England manager.
It remains to be seen who the FA will appoint as Southgate's successor, but Scholes' social media post on Tuesday evening suggests he would like to see Guardiola given the job. The Manchester City manager is now in the final year of his deal at the Etihad and speculation suggesting it could be his last season at the club continues to swirl.
