Man United fans are fearing the worst after Marcus Rashford limped off in the pre-season friendly clash against Real Betis.
The winger went down holding his foot and was assisted off by physios in what appears to be the latest in a line of devastating injury blows to Erik ten Hag’s squad. While the extent of the 26-year-old’s injury is unknown, fans are expecting the worst as they claim the club has been “cursed”.Rashford made 43 appearances last season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists, but played just two of the final six games of the league season as he struggled with injuries.Having missed out on England’s Euro 2024 squad, his return to United in pre-season was greeted with anticipation, but he appears to have suffered another setback.
If after just two games on tour United have Yoro, Rasmus, Rashford and Antony out injured for the start of the season we really are cursed…
