After his arrest in connection with the two grocery store incidents in 2022, investigators seized his electronic devices and found evidence of the additional incidents, officials said. Investigators alleged upskirting incidents at eight different grocery stores between May and November of 2022, officials said. The incidents allegedly occurred at the ShopRite supermarkets in Shrewsbury, West Long Branch and Elizabeth; ShopRite Wines & Spirits in Westfield, Whole Foods in Middletown, as well as a Foodtown and Walmart in unknown locations, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.
Cox was arrested on January 12 during a traffic stop in Shrewsbury, officials said. A detention hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
