The 48-year-old is accused of taking a vehicle from a dealership and was arrested at a casino.

A 48-year-old man who took a car for a test drive on Saturday in Ocean County, New Jersey, decided not to return the vehicle, instead driving to a casino in Atlantic City, where he was arrested, authorities said.

An employee at Barlow GMC car dealership in Stafford called police at 8:15 p.m Saturday, more than nine hours after Jason DeAngelo took the car for what should have been a short drive,Minutes later, DeAngelo refused to stop when Tuckerton police tried to pull over the vehicle on Route 539, police said. DeAngelo fled south on the Garden State Parkway, police said.

Police later found the vehicle unoccupied in the parking garage of the Tropicana Atlantic City, about 35 miles from the Route 72 dealership. Police arrested DeAngelo in the casino. DeAngelo, of Barnegat, is charged in Stafford with third-degree unlawful taking of means of conveyance.
