Aimen Halim is seeking damages after he discovered the 'wings' he bought in January were actually made of 'slices of chicken breast meat'.
The wings above, which are not those purchased by the plaintiff, appear to be genuine. File picIn a decade where the world has faced a global pandemic, the threat of nuclear war, and a rise in the cost of living - a man in the US claims he has encountered another crisis to add to the mounting list of problems facing our species.
Mr Halim, who filed his lawsuit at a district court in Illinois, said he purchased the"wings" at a restaurant in Mount Prospect, Illinois, in January. However, his lawsuit states:"Unbeknownst to Plaintiff and other consumers, the Products are not wings at all, but instead, slices of chicken breast meat deep-fried like wings."Had Plaintiff and other consumers known that the Products are not actually chicken wings, they would have paid less for them, or would not have purchased them at all.
