Man stabbed in face in East Village area [Breaking]
A man was stabbed in his face and injured in the Barrio Logan area Sunday afternoon, San Diego police said.
A 911 caller reported the stabbing about 4 p.m. in the area of South 16th Street and Newton Avenue, not far from East Village. The victim, whose age was not immediately available, was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said. Police said the victim was not being cooperative and would not say what exactly happened. No further information was immediately available.
