One man was shot dead and two others wounded in a shootout during an attempted robbery at the Lenasia Cemetery, in southern Johannesburg, on Thursday, Gauteng police have said. Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo said it was alleged that a couple had been performing rituals when two armed men attacked them.
“Gunshots were exchanged between the male victim and the suspects, resulting in one suspect being shot dead," he said.“The other suspect was also shot, but managed to run away.
