A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder following a fatal shooting at a rural property in Derbyshire, local police have said.said they were called to reports of an attempted burglary at an address in Eccles Road, Whaley Bridge at 1.20am on Wednesday morning.and another with a gunshot wound in the same road nearby to the property. He was taken to hospital and arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
“Residents in the area will see an increased police presence in the area for some time as investigations continue and we will provide further updates as soon as we are able.
